LG G3 D850 Appears on LG’s Website, Packs a Quad HD Screen

The smartphone was spotted on LG’s website and, according its User Agent profile, it features a Quad HD (250 x 1440 pixels) screen. Previous rumors have suggested that the LG G3 might arrive with a Quad HD screen, so if the above UA profile is the real deal we might actually see a 2K smartphone from LG later this year. For what it’s worth, Samsung’s Galaxy S5 was also rumored to bring a 2K display, but the South Korean company has settled for a full HD screen.

The rumor mill speculates that the LG G3′s screen will measure 5.5-inch diagonally, which might be an explanation for why the G Pro 2′s screen grew to 5.9 inches while its predecessor sported a 5.5-inch display. I mean your flagship smartphone has to be smaller than your flagship phablet. If the rumors are true and the G3 brings a 5.5-inch screen with 2K resolution then it would boast about 534 ppi density.

The other technical specifications of the LG G3 are yet a mystery, we can speculate that it will pack 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 805 processor (Qualcomm announced that the fist Snapdragon 805-powered devices will debut this summer), and a primary camera with at least 13 MB. Hopefully, LG will also throw in a battery that is big enough to support the 2560 x 1440 screen.
