LG G3 Could Arrive with QHD Screen and Waterproof Body

Korean publication ETNews writes that the LG G3 will arrive with a water and dust proof case, just like the Sony high-end flagship released over the past year and the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S5. It looks like the waterproof smartphones are beginning to become mainstream, and, hopefully, all smartphone makers will borrow this feature.

Famous leaker @evleaks also talks about the LG G3 on his Twitter account, saying that a smartphone codenamed LG D850 will arrive at AT&T. Even though he doesn’t mention the device by the name of LG G3, @evleaks reminds us that “D800 was G2, D820 was Nexus 5, and D830 was G Pro 2.”

The same source also revealed that the LG G3 will pack a 13 MP primary shooter, while the display will measure 5.5 inches diagonally, which is the same as the one of the Optimus G Pro, which was LG’s high-end phablet for 2013. The folks at Phone Arena also mention about a G Pro 2 Lite, which, as you’ve probably guessed already, will be a cheaper variant of the G Pro 2 phablet launched earlier last month at Mobile World Congress.
