Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 Update Hits the UK

Back in January, the folks at Samsung released the Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 update for the international variant of the handset, but, for some reason the software update wasn’t made available for download in the UK. Now, the Galaxy Note 3 owners in the UK are reporting that the Android 4.4.2 OTA update has started to hit their devices.

If the update is ready for your devices you should see a system update message in the notification area, but, sometimes, you can find the new firmware by performing a manual update. In order to do so you must head to Settings > More > About Phone > System Update > Check for updates. Alternatively, you can connect the smartphone to the PC using the USB cable and check for the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update via KIES.

The Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 KitKat update file has a size of around 400 MB, therefore it’s recommended to use a stable WiFi connection while downloading it.
