Microsoft bringing Xbox One to 26 new countries in September

After finally getting the Xbox One to a point where it feels like a complete thought, the Xbox team has announced plans to expand availability of their console this fall by an impressive 26 countries.

The official Xbox News page updated today with 26 new markets that the console will be available in September. These markets include Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, amd the UAE.

In their announcement, Microsoft added that currently users spend an average of five hours a day on the console. Given the streaming media and TV passthrough features that are available with the machine, it’s not a surprising figure.
